Common Questions

Where do you operate?

Although we are based in Grand Rapids, our service reaches all of West Michigan. If a client from West Michigan needs to see a specialist outside of that geographic location, we are able to provide that option.

Does insurance cover your service?

As this is a new service, we do not have insurance coverage. We have adapted our pricing to be the equivalent of what it would cost for each user if insurance coverage was included.

How do I set up an appointment?

Feel free to give us a call at (616) 920-0360, or email us at to set up an appointment.

How much of a notice do you need before scheduling an appointment?

We prefer a 24 hour notice, but we will do our best to connect a Medical Advocate with each client within the timeframe required to get to the appointment.

Can I use the same Registered Nurse?

If your appointment went well and you had a good connection with your Registered Nurse, they will become your personal Medical Advocate for future appointments.

How can I be sure that each Registered Nurse is trustworthy?

We conduct several interviews with each Registered Nurse. Once those are completed and PEACE of Mind staff decides to move forward, background checks and verification of RN licenses are audited.

What happens after the appointment?

Once the appointment has finished, the Registered Nurse will follow up with the client's family members to update them on how the appointment went. From there, the documentation of notes are put on a secured, HIPAA compliant file that is then transferred over to the client and their family members to stay informed.

How do I pay?

Our service requires private pay. Depending on the amount of appointments, we will send out an invoice weekly to the client or their family member. If you choose to utilize our membership, payments will be made every 3, 6, or 12 months.

Are medical records kept confidential?

Every report is kept on a safe and secured file that is only accessible to PEACE of Mind, the client, and the family member's of the clients choosing. Reports will soon be accessed and shared by our HIPAA compliant app-development partner, Care Convene.

Are you able to pick up prescriptions?

If the pick-up of prescriptions is after the appointment, yes. The client is required to be present.

Do your Registered Nurses make follow-up appointments?

If a client had a good connection with their Registered Nurse, the client and their personal Registered Nurse can coordinate the next follow up visit based upon their schedule and availability.

How much does your service cost?

We have 3 different memberships; each covering a certain amount of appointments per month. Pricing for memberships vary depending on what package and at what rate you want to pay; for example:

  • 3 month payment = 5% discount each month
  • 6 month payment = 15% discount each month
  • 12 month payment = 25% discount each month

If you seek to use our service once or twice a year, pricing is hourly, and each service is charged at a differently hourly rate. Pricing is as follows:
